I grew up in the small rice-farming community of El Campo, Texas. El Campo is located about an hour south from Houston on Highway 59. I graduated from El Campo High School and then attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston on a scholarship. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BBA in Accounting. At the University I met my wife Cynthia and we were married one month after graduation. Then my wife and I attended South Texas College of Law in Houston. While in law school, I passed the certified public accountant exam and the Series 7 securities exam to obtain my CPA and investment licenses. My wife and I then graduated from law school with our doctorates of jurisprudence and passed the bar exam to obtain our law licenses.
My wife and I then obtained our certification for Mediation. After graduation I worked for a multi-million dollar manufacturer in Houston as an auditor and corporate counsel. My wife and I then moved to Round Rock to start a practice in the Austin area and to be closer to family. Currently, I am a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Williamson County Bar Association, and the Georgetown and Round Rock Chambers of Commerce.

I grew up in Clear Lake City, just south of Houston, Texas which is near NASA. I graduated Valedictorian of my high school, Incarnate Word Academy, which is located in the heart of downtown Houston. I attended the University of St. Thomas on a full-tuition scholarship where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Biology. After I married my husband we both attended South Texas College of Law in Houston. I was a member of the Dean's List and received the highest grade award for "Employee Rights & Responsibilities." I am a member of the College of the State Bar, the State Bar of Texas, the Williamson County Bar Association, and the Georgetown and Round Rock Chambers of Commerce. My husband and I have started our practice here in the Round Rock area to be closer to family. We proudly offer services to those in Williamson and Travis Counties including Georgetown, Round Rock, Hutto, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, and surrounding areas.

The College of the State
Bar of Texas is an honorary society of attorneys that have shown the highest commitment to continue and enhance their legal education far past the minimal requirements. Only about eight percent (8%) of the attorneys
licensed to practice law in Texas are able to meet or exceed
the continuing legal education requirements for membership in The College of the State Bar
of Texas.
